                                                                             Text 1

1. Question: ……………………………………………………………………….

Answer: I don't think so.  In our parents' generation, there was less technology to make life easy, and transportation and money were harder to come by.  Often people either had to walk or go by bus to get to school, or something of the like.

2. Question
: ……………………………………………………………………….

Answer: No, my parents' schools' regulations and standards were much tougher and stricter in comparison to the school I attend.

4. Question: ……………………………………………………………………….

Answer:  I'm not sure about this one...I love living now, the 90's are probably the best entertainment and technology wise.  Though it wouldn't be too bad to live in the 80's, considering that back then, people were a bit easier going , and the music was awesome, too.

5. Question: ……………………………………………………………………….

Answer: Drugs, alcohol, and violence.  Most drugs didn't even exist or get around much in our parents' generation, while now, a large number of kids in junior high is doing them.  It's sickening!

6. Question: ……………………………………………………………………….

Answer: Yes.  Almost any teen you ask will be computer savvy - it's a big help on homework.  You couldn't type up papers and use a spell and grammar check on them in the 60's and 70's.

7. Question: ……………………………………………………………………….

Answer: For one thing, we know how to use computers, and are much more technology educated than our parents are, but they have a few advantages too.  Being around longer, they are probably much wiser than us, and have a lot more common sense, and smarts.  The kind of intelligence they have can only be gained over time.
Recently, I've interviewed one of my mom's friends for a class assignment.
It's given me insight on how someone from our parents' generation looks at the current times.  She considers that it's a lot easier now, but people are simply more stressed and work oriented.  She of course, was talking about the adults.  Looking at it from her perspective, kids and teens practically have it made , just about.  We don't have the full responsibilities of adults, which is probably what makes life a lot easier for us.
